Sure we do! If necessary, we can also set up the fitting of carpet or any other kind of flooring you bought from HJMP. Please let us know if you would like fitting to be included in your quote since our carpet fitting service is £5.50 per m2. For a small extra charge, we can also set arrangements to have your old carpet lifted and removed simultaneously. It’s totally okay if you decide you only want to get carpet from us and lay it yourself or employ your own carpet fitter.

Absolutely! As long as we order a minimum of 4 metres, we are able to order from any of our carpet collections. This then considerably expands your options by being chopped down and whipped into a runner for stairs or a hallway. We also provide a large selection of exquisite stair rods to add that exquisite finishing touches.

Carpets with short piles are the most ideal for pet owners. Loop carpets are a terrific option because vacuuming is made much easier because pet hair tends to stay on top of the carpet. Select a carpet with shorter loops because larger loops can occasionally catch your pets’ claws. Because a carpet composed entirely of polypropylene is stain resistant, little spills and muddy paw prints may be cleaned up with ease.

The tog rating of a carpet and the tog rating of a duvet are identical in terms of how well they insulate. If you plan to place a carpet over draughty wooden floorboards, choose one with a high tog rating since these will perform better at keeping your home warm!

If your home has underfloor heating, you need be especially aware of tog ratings. It’s important to insulate your room, but you also want heat to be able to enter the space from above. Underfloor heating will transfer more effectively with a lower tog rating. A maximum of 2.5 tog over underfloor heating is what we would advise.

When it comes to carpet underlay, there are many options available. The knowledgeable staff at HJMP can assist you in selecting the ideal underlay! Underlay supports and improves the performance of your carpet, much like a performance fuel to your car engine. Carpet underlay is available in a number of thicknesses and materials, such as recycled PU foam and sponge rubber. For a space with a lot of foot traffic, make sure you select a thicker underlay from our selection of 8mm to 12mm carpet underlay.
